Shaping Trial Evidence Through Motions: Practical Tools and Tactical Strategies for Defense Attorneys
This dynamic training empowers criminal defense attorneys to shape the trajectory of trial evidence using practical and creative pretrial motions. Focusing heavily on motions in limine, the presenter walks through real-life examples with tactical insights regarding how to control the flow of evidence, preserve appellate issues, educate the court, and contain prosecutorial overreach. Participants will learn to craft suppression motions that expose police misconduct, assert constitutional violations, and leverage psychological dynamics to gain early strategic advantages. Through this training, defense attorneys will gain not only a deeper understanding of strategic motion practice but also immediately usable templates and language to strengthen their advocacy in court.
